If you’re heading to Tiger Stadium this Friday, September 6th, for the LSU Tigers vs. Bulldogs showdown at 6:30 p.m., there’s no better way to get game-day ready than with a slice (or two) from Fat Boy’s Pizza. Known for its gigantic 30-inch pies and lively, family-friendly atmosphere, this Baton Rouge favorite is a perfect stop for fans looking to grab a hearty meal before kickoff.

The Story Behind Fat Boy’s Pizza

Fat Boy’s Pizza started in 2019 in Metairie, Louisiana, founded by Gabe and Karen Corchiani. The idea was inspired by Gabe and Karen’s love for New York-style pizza and the oversized pies they enjoyed in South Florida. From the beginning, the restaurant set itself apart with its massive pizzas, earning the playful slogan “Size Matters.”

Gabe, a former University of New Orleans basketball player, and Karen built the brand with a focus on quality and community. From the freshest ingredients to a family-first approach, they emphasize creating a welcoming environment for both employees and guests. Since its launch, Fat Boy’s has expanded to multiple locations in Louisiana and Mississippi and is exploring opportunities to bring the concept to new markets nationwide.

Fat Boy’s is known for going big in every way, from its enormous slices to the bold flavors of its toppings. Whether you’re feeding a crowd or grabbing a quick bite, there’s something on the menu for everyone.

Their signature pizza stacked with pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers is a classic crowd-pleaser.
